Everyone has regrets and I am no exception to the rule. I regret decisions I made about love, life, friends. Mistakes abound. Scattered here and there in my past.

But in there lies the ultimate conundrum. What's the purpose of regretting regrets when all the decisions you have made today have sculpted you to become who you are? All those faults, all those holes in the road, the detours that left you a little worse for the wear but maybe a little stronger.

I'm sick of looking at my past. Sick of scrutinizing others' pasts to determine how they'll treat me. Using their past relationships as an indicator for how ours will turn out. I just want to focus on the now. The gift of the present.
